Co-founded in 2010 by Simon and Julian, the two directors collate their skills as architect and construction manager to provide a simplified and stress-free environment for designing and building one-off houses. Working as a single team, Architecturall provides an all-encompassing design and construction service, tailored to your needs. Starting at initial concept, we will effortlessly carry you through the design and planning process, then onto site where you can sit back and enjoy watching your dream home become an exiting reality.

Each project begins with a strong design concept and responds closely to the local setting. We believe that good architecture is the thoughtful making of spaces where light, circulation and composition of function all combine to create a unique building. We closely tailor the architecture to our clients' requirements ensuring the home functions not only as a beautiful object but also as a pragmatic and functioning backdrop to the client's every day routine.
seamless transition to site
Architecturall has a completely unique company set up and company ethos within the building industry. We established Architecturall as a single point of contact so we could design and build architecturally exciting homes as a one-stop company. We understand that a complex building project requires a seamless transition from drawings to site. Our past experience has taught us the extreme difficulties of dealing with a separate building contractor and their understanding the importance of aligned thinking with the architect. Often subtle or fundamental architectural aspects of a scheme are lost or overlooked by the contractor. Costs and time-frame are problematic to manage effectively and keeping the contractor focused on the project is, at best, a challenging task.
With Architecturall we remove these issues. We are solely responsible for the design and the construction of the project. As such, we enjoy the control on site, the ease of transferring information from the drawing office to site and the ability to work closely with our clients. We believe our clients significantly benefit as we do not suffer from on-site conflicts where often the client ends up becoming the project manager between architect and builder. We offer a seamless, all-in-one service where we control and manage all aspects, both on and off site. We recognise this provides us, and the client, with the best solution for designing and building architecturally exciting dwellings.

Across the complete process we pride ourselves on hard work and providing an excellent, friendly service to our clients. From start to finish, you will have a constant point of contact, typically one or both of the directors. With over 35 years of joint experience within the building industry both directors can navigate and manage any problem to a satisfactory result, ensuring the client receives the very best advice and service. Meeting clients regularly, across each stage, is paramount to the success of the scheme. Both the directors and staff are often available until late into the evening and weekends as we recognise a high quality service does not finish at 5pm. We understand that the client can often only concentrate on the project within their own spare time, which can be limited or at obscure hours. Most of our repeat custom is due to the hard working service we provide, ensuring our clients receive the highest quality of design and build.

Simon Skeffington, a fully qualified RIBA registered architect, focuses on delivering the right scheme. Each project requires carefully considered design input and Simon researches constantly, developing new concepts and new ideas to ensure the uniqueness of each project. Working towards a distinctive design aesthetic, Simon's style is contemporary in it's approach, yet reflects upon the vernacular and traditional values of the local surroundings. His design work and detailing is meticulous, where often nothing less than perfect will suffice. He draws inspiration from open, naturally light volumes found in Danish interiors and understands that clean lines, calmness and the simple formation of space is paramount to a successful design. These inspirations, coupled with his natural material palette, determines his signature style.
Julian Cotet, with 18 years on-site experience and a wealth of qualifications, including a degree in Construction Management, has exceptional knowledge on constructing architecturally challenging projects. His insistence for absolute perfection and his trained eye for detail ensures each scheme is delivered without fault. He leads our team of highly qualified site staff, who are all carefully chosen by him and work under his close guidance. He has a passion for good design and an insistence for quality which will boost any client with confidence that the scheme will be delivered to exacting standards and to budget.
